The school is great (I'm a student here) But the cafeteria staff is beyond rude, they ran out of milk 4 different times when I was trying to get milk, and they screwed up my order at the grill, and I am super upset
This school is ridiculous for the amount of money it charges for online students. The math teachers online do little to help you out, put you through hell for 4 months, and then (even if you have an A to show for your suffering) make you take a final exam. Final exams can have a purpose, but the problem I have with this final is that if you don't get over half the questions right, you fail the class period no matter what your grade is. The philosophy department is even more of a joke. The idiot profs will give you an assignment with NO direction, grade it and give it back WEEKS after you submit it, and never explain how to improve on your work or why you dropped a whole letter grade because they felt like putting a random mark on your paper. It's just NAU professors trying to make an extra buck by having an "online class" that they never actually teach. This school is keeping hard workers and good people from achieving their dreams because they are charging too much and not actually being good instructors with fair rules. In my personal opinion, if you get an "A", you should not have to take a final exam (which has material that was most likely glossed over by a lazy professor). This school is a joke, and it is true that they will conveniently lose your FAFSA over and over again no matter how many times you submit it. The staff has little compassion for anyone who is actually working hard, and the office ladies are incredibly stupid, and have no idea how to help real students with real problems. My advice is to save your money and either do ASU online or try your luck with NAU... maybe some of the philosophy profs ACTUALLY pay attention to the real life classes they teach. I definitely did not get my money's worth out of Yavapai. I am going to go somewhere where my money, time, and hard work is respected.
I love this college. Great place to learn. Good teachers and students. It gets the highest recommendation I can give. Very clean also
The MOST unhelpful counseling department I have ever experienced. They were rude, terse, and they didn't even understand certifying classes that qualified. I mean, they didn't know how to do their own job. My counselors at ASU certified the same class YC said was not applicable in Arizona. What a joke.
terrible school terrible staff i was threaten to have campus police called on me because i hurt the front desk ladies feeling over the phone because she cant do her job.half the front end staff are dam near retarded. and have been absolutely unhelpful and a pain in the ass coming from a military standard this school is all over the place absolute cluster F...they will screw your packet up. screw your fafsa up just so you have to pay out of pocket.ive attended a few on my gi bill this is the worst
