So I am new to the area and needed a bit of work to my bike that I could not handle. It was sunday and of course all bike shops in town were closed. Monday morning I packed my bike up and went to the shop that was recommended to me. I got there unloaded my bike, went to the door, there is a sign closed for vacation. "Sorry, we needed it", on the sign. Well I'll not mention the shop, everyone needs time off. So I Googled the rest of the shops, next best reviewed was closed Sunday and Monday, must be nice. I found Southwests had good reviews, pulled up and it seemed very small for a bike shop. The owner had a sign on the door, "back in a minute". I waited and here he comes on his bike. Took my bike in and started to tell him what I wanted. He said "great no problem, I'll look the whole bike over for you". Just went to pick up my bike and he did much more than I asked for $45 labor! Bike rides awesome. I have to tell you Ed knows bikes and yes it is a very small place, but this guy is awesome. He knows bikes! He is reasonable and he has earned my business and devotion. I'll speak very highly of him to others.

Going to have him build a new wheel set for me ... first two stayed true till they broke. A decade later and I still call for advice, parts, builds and CDs. Excellence is hard to find.
