Best place I've ever worked
Our 7 year old daughter attended a 4 day/3 night Girl Scout Camp Program at Camp Maripai.
When we went to the Open House, we saw that the camp is clean and not scattered with junk or debris around the property. The bunk and bath houses were all clean and well maintained.

My granddaughter was picked up today from camp, she always wants to go because she loves the horses. This was her third year going and she tells us that she was being bullied and no one did anything about it. Very disappointing. She told us that other little girls went home early because of the bullying but they let the bully stay. We pay a lot of money for this camp and for this to happen is disgraceful. Now my granddaughter doesn't know if she will ever go back to this place again after this experience. So disgusting. Very unhappy with the money we spent. I forgot to mention that last year her bag and all of her clothes were stolen. Not such a great experience. Totally sucks!
I love this place SO much. I haven't gone to many over night camps, but I'll tell you, this place is the best one out of every one I've gone to. You meet so many new friends and every time I've gone, I've gotten really close with the counselors. We do so many fun activities! Now, I love this place so much and I always have fun. But it also depends on the kids you're sending. I've seen some reviews how some kids didn't make any friends at camp or they got bullied. I'm not gonna make assumptions but, I'll guess your kid didn't say anything about it. I went for 2 weeks, and we had a few fights, but that's normal. We are all different people and from all different backgrounds. Camp is supposed to be a fun place and the counselors do everything they can to make your child's experience at camp, a great one. My experience was the best. And I can't say everyone's experiences have been like mine, but mine made me cry last time I went because I knew I was going to miss camp so much. And I still do. I had multiple breakdowns because I felt so loved that day. People were proud of me, and one of my counselors gave me a bowl! (It's an inside joke) This camp is my favorite place to be, and I'm so excited to hopefully be a spur next year!!!!
The program itself, according to my daughter, was "the best time she's ever had in my life!" She rode horses; participated in sing a longs; made crafts; played games; and made so many new friends and memories!
