Friendly employees and good customer service. It seems like they are out of certain things often which makes me wonder why they don't order more next time if they know that stuff sells out every time. The one on 69 seems to be more well stocked.

Pulling out is hard. The small evergreen trees they planted between the parking lot and highway limits your visibility. And the traffic on the road is always going faster than the posted speed of 25mph.

I always have an easy time locating what I want or need. Occasionally I want something I don't usually buy. Help is nearby and gets me where I need to go & most times they walk me to my product. I Like Walmart Superstores. Helpful and economically priced.

This is the first time I've shopped at this Walmart, and it will be the last. The store seems old inside, with narrow aisles stacked high. I found almost all of the items I was looking for and went to the checkout. There were 2 cashiers helping customers with full carts, one or two for 15 items or less, and about a half dozen self serve. I had a full cart. 2 or 3 customers went to one checker, so I went to the other one, behind someone whose cart was about half emptied. The cashier turned off her light and announce to me that she was closed. So my choice was to wait in kine behind 4 or five customers with full carts or self serve. I hate self serve, but I hate waiting in a long line to get checked. So i roll my full cart over to self serve. The 2 male employees working that area immediately looked at each other as if to say "watch this one closely 'cause he'll rip us off. So one stand about 5 feet behind me and stares as I scan each item. The computer alternates between telling me to place items in the checked area and that a unexpected item had been placed in the checked area and should be removed. There was no area to put my items to removed except on the floor. I couldn't put them back in my cart because I would have to bury unchecked items. So I had about a dozen bags of items on the floor, and finally have some room in my cart so I start transferring them from floor to cart. The computer sternly asks me if I want to continue the transaction. I was extremely tempted to hit "no" and walk away. So I finish checking out (but not until my gawking attendant approves my can of spray paint. Like my 60 plus year old ass is going to tag the hood. As i walk to my vehicle to unload, a very noisy (music, loud voices) pulls up right behind me, and I thought "what now". I looked up at 2 guys saying something I couldn't understand, and then backed out and parked elsewhere. So, thank you cashier, you'll never know how your little act resulted in my vowing to never again step into that store or any other store in that shopping center.

As the only place in Chino Valley it's sort of a necessity to shop here occasionally but I prefer to get my vegetables at Sprouts and my other essentials at Fry's. Safeway is just so much more expensive over all. For quick stops it's a fine place to grab a few things but for stocking up, there are better and less expensive alternatives.

The pizza at the deli was cold. The worker had just put the boxes there, so we thought they were fresh from the oven. The place has narrow isles. There's more slow people in this store then the one to the East.
