I've never ordered flowers in a shop.... This was a wonderful experience with a wonderful lady who knew how important this was to me. I will be going back:)
I just had a very disappointing experience with Prescott Flower Shop. I ordered a specific bouquet for the PUMC altar on March 26th to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. I was shown the exact picture with the exact coloration of flowers that I wanted in the bouquet. Imagine my surprise to find a completely different arrangement on the altar! The arrangement I had ordered was made up of primary colored flowers, and what was on the altar was some pastel yellow flowers -- completely unlike anything I could have imagined. Granted, the arrangement was beautiful; however, I have no earthly idea how this mistake could have been made. Honestly, after pointing out the EXACT arrangement in a picture, I'm at a loss to understand how I could have made my request any clearer.
Told her I needed something that would not be a problem for cats. She suggested glads with few greens. Charged $50 for a few glads, some of which were old. Got home and my wife showed me online that glads are very poisonous for cats, one of the worst. The would convulse and die quickly. She should have known that. Our friends were all out of town so we tossed them 5 minutes after we got them home.
Prescott flower shop did the flowers for my wedding. We were a bit worried about what we might want, and it took only one meeting for them to have a complete idea of what we were looking for and come the big day there were no surprises and the flowers were fresh and ready and added the perfect accent to the perfect day!
