I put Alina at the very top of the list of people I have worked with over the years.
My shoulder is now arthritic with bone spurs. By working with Alina, I've gone from having to pump 600-800mg of ibuprofen multiple times a week (or even in a day) to a maybe once a month need for pain relief. I can honestly state that my shoulder has never felt better as an adult.
I have had several massages in the past from different people. I was not sold on the practice; of course it felt good, but I didn't experience any lasting effects.. . . . . .until I went to Alina. Alina understands the body and the way if functions better than my doctor. She is passionate about better health. She gets to know her clients so that she can best serve them. She asks pertinent questions to find out what the best course of action should be. She also remembers what her clients say and works for the betterment of her clients. I attribute my lack of pain to her combination of massge, manipulation and craniosacral therapy and could not recommend her more highly.
I met Alina this winter. I was impressed right from the first conversation. She obviously knew what she was talking about. The first evaluation she did increased my respect. She is thorough, intelligent, knowledgeable, professional. My background, in part is as follows: Stroke at age 42 (I'm now 62). A series of major and minor surgeries all my life. Then a significant car accident resulted in having my neck fused, with bone grafts and steel plate with 6 screws. At the beginning of 2010 I had 2 spinal cord surgeries in one week and one more 5 weeks later. In May 2013 I had another spinal cord surgery and on June 1st a 70% medial meniscus tear and had it repaired two weeks later. I'm labeled by the government as "significantly disabled" and in constant pain. TMI-sorry,but here is where Alina Pellicer comes in. I'm 1600 miles away from my Rehab Dr., Primary Care Dr., Personal Trainer, and massage therapist.
I meet with Alina for SacroCranial therapy. She was extremely gentle and most of the techniques used were the same as my Rehab Dr! She also gave me sound and excellent advice. Communication is excellent. She is First Rate in knowledge of anatomy, nerve paths, etc., etc. I could go on and on.
I have been going to Alina for massage for over three years. She is fantastic! Her office environment is a very soothing, beautiful and comfortable space. Alina is a skilled therapist who has always addressed my changing needs in a caring and expert way, whether it be help with general relaxation, specific aches and pains, or pre and post natal massage. I moved here from the Chicago area and before that Santa Fe. I have always had an awesome massage therapist in each place I've lived but Alina is by FAR the best I've known. I cannot recommend her enough!
Needless to say, I have been around my share of physical and massage therapists.
She has my deep respect and will remain a part of my permanent program to get back to some type of reasonable health. OH by-the-way, she had a significant affect on my constant pain I have lived

Play hard or go home. In 1982 I had a a Bankart repair to fix recurrent shoulder dislocation issue (about 100 total over 5 1/2 years) from football, followed in 1991 with a achilles rupture from racketball, and finally in 2008 a modified Broström ankle reconstruction coupled with microfracture surgery vis-a-vis another sport with a ball. Each rehab took over six months.
