2. Room was not cleaned when entered. Bed was rushed and covers were not even fully done. I made the beds.
We loved our stay! We brought our Yorkie and she had a great time. The rooms were nice, the pool area was great and the breakfasts was really yummy! The people who work there are so nice and helpful! We will definitely stay there again!
3. Room smelled like smoke. We've never have had a room smell like smoke before when staying at any Marriott.
We ended up leaving and stayed at the Marriott outside of downtown.
The stay was enjoyable. Ample breakfast. Comfy bed. It was unfortunately the case that they could not accommodate our room request and we were downgraded. They said they would compensate with Marriott points. We'll see how that turns out.
We drove up from PHX for the weekend. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and clean. I always appreciate the kitchenette (microwave/fridge) and blow dryer in the room. The bed was comfy. We will definitely be back.
Great hotel! Wonderfully comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. Hotel is also in great location. Most of all customer service just CAN'T BE BEAT!! The people that work her ate amazing!!!
I will start the review by stating we have always stayed at a Marriott when visiting Prescott (at least 7 times a year) and it is always above 5 stars, but I'm afraid this last visit and experience afterwards has caused us to abandon every staying at the downtown one ever again.
I will just make a list of issues instead of writing a novel.
4. Bathroom wasn't clean. You could see the footprints from shoes from previous occupant. There was literally a cake of dirt on the base boards and when I was going to wash my toddler before going to dinner there was hair in the tub.
Got an email from general manager offering a refund which was amazing customer service, but ended up charging my card again instead of processing a refund.
1. Keys didn't work which is fine, no biggie. Tried to have them fixed didn't work. Did again and only one ended up working. This is a lot of walking around when you have a 3 year old who has been in a car for 2 hours.
