We received prompt service. The service technicians were knowledgeable and honest. If I ever need servicing again for the fireplace, I will definitely call them again.
What a wonderful group of people, my husband and I recently had a gas stove installed to replace our wood burning stove. Eric and Sons did a terrific job, explaining all the differences between the two. They were prompt respectful and very professional as well as friendly. Not only that they gave us a very fair price.
My husband and I recently had a wood burning high efficiency fireplace installed by Eric & Sons. Eric is a pleasure to work with and his crew was polite, punctual and neat. After the install, Eric came out for about an hour with a box of wood and showed us how to use our new fireplace.
We are now enjoying heating our entire home with wood, which will give us many years of enjoyment. I believe that we will heat our house for the winter with a cord of wood. No more heat pump running all the time with lukewarm air.

When I decided to build a home in Granville, I knew that I did not want a “builder’s” fireplace. After reviewing proposals from many companies, most of which wanted me to hire the framer, the drywall contractor, the plumber for gas, and everything in between, I chose Eric & Sons. Eric and Jarod visited my home and reviewed my plans. They were the only firm to offer a full service product. Eric himself came to my home to do the construction, and reviewed every step with me to be sure tha my fireplace met my expectations.
Eric and son, Jarrod, installed a custom gas fireplace and surround and several solar tubes for us. They even ran a gas line outside for us for a future BBQ. They were punctual, neat, and extremely cordial to work with, completing all projects very efficiently. We had a couple of unforeseen issues come up during the construction, not unusual for projects like these, and they were addressed quickly and without any hesitation. We would recommend them without any reservations - great people with whom to work. (By the way, I see that the only "negative" review here is by someone who didn't even have the courage (or truthfulness?) to sign their name to it -- makes you wonder, doesn't it? His (or her) comments definitely aren't applicable to Eric & Sons.)
The unit they installed is not “builder grade” or even average. It is the top of the line...not because I specified it, because as Eric said, he would know the difference. I am so very pleased with the beautiful work that went into my fireplace, and especially pleased to have worked with Eric & Sons. While I might have saved jus a bit by contracting everything myself, my time has value. In the end, I had no problems, trusted the people who entered my home, and most importantly, got exactly what I asked for...a beautiful, quality fireplace that will provide years of warmth and pleasure.
