Emily's & Emily are the best. My fingernails were repaired & healed by her great care. Plus, they all make me feel welcome there. I like hanging out there. It is a happy place to be in. They keep it very neat & clean. They have worked hard to create an atmosphere of courtesy and expertise. There are many, including those who's names I can't remember who always have a greeting with a smile. The staff work hard, but laughter can be heard. Couldn't ask for a better place to go.
If you plan on going to this nail salon please avoid getting Emily as your nail tech. She is very rude and she always manages to F'up my nails! The salon wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't there. I recently went back for a fill and I ended up getting her, as always I'm tensed up through the whole thing. before coming in for the fill, I had gotten a full set and chose a regular nail polish and got them topped with a matte coat, I came out very happy and also because Emily wasn't the one who did them for me as she wasn't there that day. When I went back for the fill, I wanted the same nail color and wanted them shorter with the matte top coat. As shes working on my nails, I try to look up and just watch the TV as when I try to look at the process of my nails she'll look up right at me and give me a nasty look so I try to avoid contact. this is the second time that I've gotten her that she messes up my nails, I gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a bad day the last time she did my nails, but not the case. So as shes polishing, She bumps one of my nails and looks up at me giving me the look like Its my fault. SO instead of taking the nail polish off and redoing the nail she only takes the nail polish where it messed up so when the nail drys, you can clearly see the line in between where she re polished. When it was time for the matte top coat, she takes 5 min to look for it and by now shes in a bad mood, she ends up using a GEL matte top coat which completely ruined the nail polish underneath since the nail color wasn't gel, she bumps my thumb while its wet and gets even more mad-"my fault" again she only takes off the side where it was messed up. After everything, I leave the salon with a very noticeable line on my thumb nail and a clumpy streaky mess on the rest. This lady's attitude is the worst, either she has something against me and my boyfriend as he goes with me and gets the most meanest looks(Don't like Mexicans?) or she sucks at what she does which I think is both. I ended up taking off my nails when I got home, I tried re polishing but only made it worse, plus I was looking at the nails and they were super thin and practically were cracking off as the acrylic was applied terribly and not enough. Please book an appointment with everyone else except her like Danny or Ben, or else you'll either come out with wet clumped nails or a situation like mine when I went for a fill. NEVER AGAIN!
My toes always look great. The massage is lovely. Salon neat & clean. The staff is super friendly. Fair prices. Yea, Emily's!
I went in a few months ago for a full set of acrilycs.. Emily used a strange colored acrylic so I asked her why did it have a different color to it, she claimed it lasted longer.... which it didnt. It broke and chipped in just a few days. I only had to lightly tap it to crack the acrylic nail... terrible quality acrylic. The color I had asked for was rainbow nails, she didn't use 10 colors... she used 5... that's not very rainbow, and I asked her to please let me choose my colors and she said no... the paint job was very sloppy and translucent... she was on the phone most of the time and at the end of my experience I was dissatisfied .... she charged me 40 dollars.... for the worst nails of my life. I'm sorry but I would NEVER recommend them...
