The owner must hate his life,I swear. everytime we come in to do laundry(once a week) he has the worst attitude, one of his very outdated machines are our quarters he accused my girlfriend of lying about it and called her a liar! I was Mind blown. We have been doing our laundry here for almost 2 years and never once has he greeted us with a smile. He even gives us an attitude when we ask for rolls of quarters. He must not want any business. I easily spend $50 a month here. Not to mention we have to clean the washers and dryers with baby wipes before we wash our clothes here. It's filthy!! Bugs everywhere. He even smokes inside. It always smells like cheap rolled up tobacco cigarettes. He lost us as customers for good.
On September the 17th I walked into the cleaning machine to clean my clothes, no big suprise there. When I got there, I needed to use the bathroom. I asked the attendant if there was a public bathroom. Her response was "Here in Prescott we have modern services like indoor bathrooms and such." That would have been funny had she not been snotty about it. After arriving I needed to sort some of my clothes and was instructed that I could not use one of the baskets to do so. I was told that I needed to throw my clothes on the floor instead. I try not to leave my clothes on the floor at home so I don't understand why I needed to put them on the floor at a laundromat. After respecting the attendent's wishes I asked to use the baskets to move my clothes to the washers since that area was full when I got there. I was treated it as if my clothes were disgustingly filthy and she sanitized the basket after I used it. This is ironic as there was a mop head wedged under one of the large washers catching dripping water that had gone sour. I was told that I almost mowed down a customer with the basket I used which the customer denied since I said excuse me as I passed. I was promptly told by the attendant that I must leave. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Instead the contrary. I would suggest that anyone that needs to clean their clothes washed avoid this location especially on a Sunday morning. Any other review that would suggest otherwise I believe were made by people with a financial interest in this location.
The lady who staffed the place when I was there was very friendly, helping nubes like me with a smile and some chatter. Also could tell there were a coupla regulars because they called her by name and she welcomed them by name. Clean, pleasant, nice machines.
The lady who runs this place is rude, and doesn't clean the machines. I found an old dirty bandaid in a machine. The dryer was cold, and she said "I don't care, you're just looking for a fight". Needless to say that I won't ever go back. They charge waaay to much to use the machines for bandaids to be in the machines.
Clean and convenient. A real value and you can wash your cat while there!
