If you need help, and you are a vet, then you need to see this place, they will do their best to make your life better! It has been a blessing seeing the people at the Prescott vet center. The staff is kind, understanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all respectful. There are several groups to help you, plus individual counselors to make sure all of your needs are taken care of.
I have been going here for 3 years. My last counselor was great. Today I saw a "counselor" with no interpersoanl skills. He denied looking at my clinical record. Untrue, even a first year social worker would know better. He sat in front of me, with his hands in front of his face, while playing with his fingers. Women vets do not go there. He said we have nothing to do with the Prescott VA center which is a lie because it all falls under the Department of VA Affairs.
