This from a student point of view. The principle is bad. She didn't care about what the students did at the bus stop. Other students have said that you can get away with anything. I have also heard teachers saying that she doesn't treat fellow employees right like she should. But the vice principle was right on (is now in Phoenix). Always the nicest administrative person to see everyday. The front office staff has come and gone and finally toward the end of the year they got 2 permanent people. But they treat the parents, students, teachers horrible. Talking back, cussing, not what the school needs. Granite was great before the current principle came. But the new vice principle is good and I am satisfied with her. think if the current principle left, I would suggest Granite. But charter schools and mile high and other middle schools are better as of now.
There are many fabulous, caring teachers at Granite Mountain School. They are some of the top teachers in their fields. As an educator, I am truly familiar with their teaching styles, personalities, curriculum and more. I would highly recommend many, many teachers at Granite Mountain and all of the wonderful activities they do with students.
I gave this school 5 stars because they deal with things seriously. They treat other people like it is they're own family. This school makes me feel safe and warm inside!!!
2. Parking here is the worst experience you will ever have. If you can find any.
granite mountain i one of the best schools ever. I am there as a 8th grade boy. i know it is going out next year but granite has one of the greatest curriculum that any school should. they have great extra curriculum. Some of the sports they offer are basketball, soccer, volley ball (ect.)
