Would send my children here again, and I recommend Sacred Heart School in Prescott to anyone who is seeking Catholic school education for their children.
Thankfully, my kids don't go to Sacred Heart Grade School. I would not send my kids to a school that promotes bad language and poor sportsmanship! Last year was my first encounter with the school via a soccer game against our school. Our coach had to ask SHGS's coach to clean up his mouth! Shocked me that he said such foul words in front of all the kids! I was so upset I was going to call the school to inform them of the coach they have representing their school and how he lacks (understatement of the year) good sportsmanship! I regret never calling the school though. This year our team played them once again, I wasn't looking forward to seeing that school, thankfully I was on the other side of the field so if the coach decided to talk inappropriately, I wouldn't hear it. This year the SHGS players elbowed our kids in the back, face and sent them flying by tripping them and also ran right into our players!! I did call the school this time to make sure they are aware of such terrible sportsmanship and how the their team lacks integrity! Not surprising though if they are coached by a man that seems to lack the same thing. (Unfortunately, I could not talk to the principal) I will not allow my kid to play against SHGS in the future!! Other parents came up to me after the game and they were just as upset!! Seems ironic that a Christian school has the worst attitude of all the schools in our area!! Sad...
Catholic school education in Prescott at it's finest. Have two children who have been attending for 6 years now. Both since Kindergarten. The oldest is in 5th grade. If a private school education with Catholic values is an important criteria to you, please consider Sacred Heart School as an ideal place for your children to receive their primary grade schooling.
This school provides not only an excellent academic education but a loveing and careing enviorment that strives to have the children be sucessful .
Attended back in 95 great memories.
