What a fantastic new school! La Tierra offers a wonderful elementary school option, utilizing the Expeditionary Learning model and integrating the Southwest culture. I love the fact that all students learn Spanish and that literacy is such a core component of the school. Also, students are brought outside of the school walls for fieldwork, learning about topics that go beyond the typical textbook instruction. The Prescott community is SOOOOO fortunate to have a school like this as an option---I know I'm thankful!
