In summary, if you want top-quality food and service, find elsewhere. If you're comfortable paying fine dining prices just to get a good view and mediocre food, thus place will do.

For some reason, I was left only with my butter knife to cut the meat. It worked well enough except for a but of gristle that could, perhaps, have been trimmed before cooking. The duck was cooked a little more toward well done than I was expecting and was only a moment of cooking away from being dry. Again, and I cannot stress this enough, the dominant flavor was salt. It was just so, so salty.

Worst service ever we were a party of 7, the restaurant was not busy at all that should have been our first clue, we arrived about 6:40pm got seated no utensils asked for straws twice finally got them. We ordered our meals and by 7:55pm no food and still no utensils, my husband was starving and so annoyed that he left the table and went to the nearest restaurant, the waiter hardly came to our table and when he for come by hee kept making excuses about everything .... Would never go back absolutely poor service...

Seeing the items listed on the menu, I had hoped for a quality cocktail. Unfortunately, when I asked after their scotch, I found that they had little better than well spirits. A Glenlivet 12 was the best single malt they could muster. Bourbon choices were not much better.

I only could give one star because, we didn't even get a chance to sit down. We waited up front at the hostess stand for 15 minutes. There was 6 people in front of us. No one came up. There were 5 or 6 empty tables in the restaurant. I actually called the front desk of the hotel to see if something was wrong. Spoke to "Jessica". After speaking with Jessica, she said she would have someone check. NO ONE EVER CAME OVER! This is such a poorly ran restaurant, I couldn't believe it. But I guess it comes down to is they make their money on people gambling not for the quality dining experience it used to be. We left and went over to the Hassayampa Inn for a beautifully prepared breakfast. While there we saw 2 different couples we stood in line with from the Prescott Resort.

As an entree, I had the duck which was served with a mushroom pilaf and asparagus. The asparagus was firm and perfectly cooked. The pilaf was rich and creamy and at least least helped cut the extreme saltiness of the duck a little bit. A chutney of some sort decorated the plate, and was, perhaps underfeatured as it had some of the best flavor of admitting in the dish.

We had a party of six and could not have been more pleased with our experience. The view at sunset was beautiful. The service and a food was excellent.

Very convenient place to eat when staying at Prescott Resort. Beautiful view looking down into the valley. Not a bad table in the place. Ate lunch here for business. Basic lunch menu of salads and sandwiches. Vegetarian friendly as well which is a plus when you're here for a conference and don't have luxury of time to leave for another restaurant. Service was fantastic. Haven't tried breakfast yet but hear they really have a great menu and it's a must try.

The food itself was, in a word, salty. I started with a cup of bacon, chicken, vegetable soup. It was really quite good aside from the amount salt, with carrots corn, celery, and potatoes complementing bite-sized pieces of chicken and thick bits of bacon.

The location, view, and decor at Icha Maajoh are quite nice. The air of quality dining, however, is somewhat oversold. When I arrived, only one or two tables were seated. After several minutes, a host arrived at the front and greeted me with, "what can I help you with?" Not the most welcoming reception. I happened to be seated where I could see the front and the opportunity to see several people leave after waiting too long for the host to come up and seat them.
