I explained the vehicle I wanted to trade in, gave as accurate of a description as I could, and told him what I was looking for in value all over the phone from the Valley. We came to a gentlemen's agreement over the phone without any haggling or stress. I was concerned someone else would purchase the vehicle during the next 24 hours before I could drive up and sign for it myself but Ray assured me I would have first rights. He said he would label the listing as pending but didn't want me to sign anything until I was able to put my own eyes on the truck and foot on the gas pedal.
I can't emphasize enough how great my buying experience was working with Ray A. I found the vehicle online. Living down in the Valley, over 100 miles away, it wasn't an option to just go look at it on a whim. On the very first phone call Ray was kind enough to walk out to the vehicle and describe in detail every little scratch, ding, and stain he saw as if he were buying the vehicle himself. Trust me, there weren't very many imperfections. They have great integrity and stand behind the vehicles they are selling. I noticed all of their inventory, including motorcycles, were in great shape, cleaned up, and looking great.
As I saw in another review, all of the cars I saw on the lot were Very nice, not your average car lot. When It's time for another car, I will be looking at Street Dreams first.
Made a deal for a used GMC. Made mistake and wired don ?1000 more than agreed. Not only refused return money yet car had substantially more damage than described. No more internet purchases. Car dealers are car dealers!
Loved Ray and Frenchy. Consequently they are limited on what their owner will allow them to do. I bought a vehicle that had a minor oil leak (2004 Infiniti G35) . After many times with their own mechanics attempting to repair it I had to take to another mechanic to have it repaired in which they wouldn't reimburse me for (they even delivered to me). Something told me not to buy the car when I noticed the leak originally but like I said Ray and Frenchy are good guys and I wanted to follow through. Consequently it was an $800 learning experience. My only advice is to be sure all work is done to your satisfaction before picking up and have to learn the hard way like I did.
Just Purchased a 2009 Corvette from Don at Street Dreams. I found the car on auto trader, Called Don, He was very helpful, walked out and looked at the car while I was on the phone and answered all my Questions.
The following day my wife (8 months pregnant) and I made the drive up to Prescott. There was rain and accidents causing us to arrive just barely before closing time. It was dark and raining, Ray could have just as easily handed me the keys to go for a test drive. BUT, he took me out to the truck, walked me around in the rain and cold, and pointed out every little detail he described to me over the phone. Truly a spot on description and the pictures they provided online were very accurate.
