I love the food. It's great. There's usually a wait and I don't mind. I understand they're busy. The problem is when we were asked to give up our table. We were waiting for two more people, have already drinks, and because at the time it wasn't busy, they gave us a table. Suddenly it gets busy, our friends are almost here but the lumbering manager with glasses and a handlebar says we gotta stand, they need that table. I try to understand but I've never felt humiliated like this at a restaurant. We left and I guess they won't have to worry about me taking up their tables.
The food was very good. The service was friendly. The wait was long but worth it. The green chili gravy is different and delicious. The homemade desserts were a nice treat as well.
Delicious!!!! There is so much to enjoy, However... The place is busy and they want you to be conscious of waiting customers. There are signs at every table that essentially ask you to be considerate. The problem is that between the signs and the underlying rushing it does put a damper on what would otherwise be a positive experience. Do go and enjoy the food if you are not put off by potentially being scooted out the door.
I usually love this place food is always amazing, but i don’t like that it felt like we were on a double with the couple next to us. There are several other couples here with tables to themselves and have plenty of room. It’s awkward to sit next to a couple you don’t know while they enjoy their meal. Definitely need to expand to a bigger location, or maybe change the table layout a little bit to better accommodate couples.
Absolutely delicious! Homemade biscuits were light and flaky - wow- green chili gravy was so flavorful! Eggs cooked to order and sides were equally as tasty - we will be back!
