Dr. Purush is an excellent physician! He is extremely knowledgeable, listens attentively to patient concerns, and sensitively individualizes the care he gives... I love that he does not push meds like some do, but understands the full spectrum of care. His office is also the most organized I have ever seen, geared to take care of patients efficiently, in surroundings of safety and cleanliness.
Dr Purush is a great doctor, have been our family's doctor for years now. Always recommend him to friends who ask for an opinion.
I currently have Ajith Purush as my primary care physician. I consider him pretty thorough and knowledgeable, so I fully trust that he can catch anything that's important that I wouldn't have known. Just as a reference, I do have a recent PhD from UC Berkeley where I learned a good deal and contributed a little to our knowledge of the human visual system. I think that qualifies me to be fairly good evaluator of the scientific basis of whatever a medical doctor tells me, and I have no problem calling one out if I smell BS. A big part of the advertised goal of this practice is what I consider lifestyle adjustment/coaching, but both times I've had problems a drug was prescribed. One was high triglyceride in blood and the other was some inflammatory knee pain - both could be (and has been fixed) without drugs. A couple months of fasted cardio brought me triglyceride levels below 80, and after looking at my running form and making certain adjustment, the knee pain was gone. Also the staff can be quite sloppy. For example, they don't ask you to take shoes off for measuring your weight and asks you to do so for your height... that can through your BMI off a little.
