Dr Aranda is a great doctor. I have seen him for years. His office staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend his office due to the office staff!
Dr. Aranda has been my physician for the past 3 years, and yes I am on medicare. Have never received such wonderful care and attention in my life. He is patient, answers all my questions, if an emergency during office hours have always been able to get an appointment with him or one of the other physicians in the practice. The staff in his office is extraordinary. I had given up on physician's offices having great staff, in his office they are all outstanding.
I recently moved here and was looking for a new PCP. Dr. Aranda is on the PCP list for my insurance carrier. I called to see if the doctor was taking new patients. Yes, however, after giving my personal information, I was informed that the doctor would NOT see me because I have had pain management. (The scheduler, obviously, checked me out with the insurance company while I was on hold.) I am a senior citizen with severe osteoarthritis in one hip; I am not some junkie looking for a supply of pain meds. I thought that medical treatment was not supposed to be withheld because of pre-existing conditions. I am still in utter disbelief over this incident.
I am very impressed with Dr Aranda. He listens to what you have to say and is very patient oreintated. He has always given the best. Advise and very good referrals if needed. I'd recommend him to friends and family. He doesn't always take new patients, but hope you are lucky enough to catch him when he does take new patients.
