Dr. Baumann & his staff provided courteous & expertise from beginning to end. They all do their jobs well.
Bauman is a true professional. I've been to other pain ccinics in the area and left bewildeded. Some have no regard for time,,some have no regard for people and are overworked. Dr Bauman gets it right and in my case a radiofrequency albation, he got it right on and hit the target dead on.
I have been going to Dr. Baumann's office for years and they have always been so professional. They get to know there patients on a first name basis and treat you like family... I would recommend them to anyone that needed to see a pain management specualist.... Keep up the excellent work
I was doing a series of epidural injections with Dr. Baumann for chronic lower back pain. They helped somewhat but the decrease in pain was not much and wore off quite quickly. He set me up for a rhizotomy or ablation which was done first on one side and then to be finished on the other side. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I missed my appointment to finish the other side and therefore was dropped as a patient right in the middle of his prescribed therapeutic ablation procedure. That was over two years ago and they still refuse to give me another appointment to restart the process or just to finish what was started. I understand the hassles it causes when a patient misses an appointment but I have to wonder about their priorities. It doesn't seem to be about treating the patient and finishing the critically important therapy, as he stated, but rather maybe its all about the cash flow. I just called the office to try to get an appointment to finish what was started but I was informed that I would never be able to be treated by Dr Baumann again and they were even unwilling to suggest another Doctor in the area that I might see to finish the treatment.
I called in May of 2015. I was told I needed a written referral. I requested a written referral at my next doctor's appointment in June 2015. I was told that I needed to call because Dr. Baumann is in a different city than my primary doctor. I called and informed Dr. Baumann's office that I had a written referral in hand. I was told that it needed the referral to be faxed from my doctor's office. On my next doctors appointment, I had them fax the referral. That was on July 25, 2015. On Friday July 31st I called to make an appointment. I was then told that Dr. Baumann was reviewing the referral and they would get back to me.
I have a history of chronic pain. I fusions at c3c4, c5c6,T11 to L2 and have a complete shoulder replacement. I have diabetic neuropathy in all four extremities. Dr Baumann was recommended to me.
It is August 28th. I have yet to hear from Dr. Baumann's office.
